"And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: Where thou diest, will I die, and there be buried:..." Ruth 1:16-17 (Flo's promise).

At the end of Seminary for us in 1958, some missionaries and a pastor and wife, gave up and said we just can't do this, the missionaries were studying the language and the pastor and wife were pastoring a church. Frank and I both said I don't want to do what they did. Frank said let's pray and ask God to show that it is His will not just our desire. We did and these are the scriptures that God gave us. God gave Frank exactly what He said He would. And I followed Frank in the mission work just life Ruth followed her mother-in-law. God has blessed the ministries that we started together and now He is blessing me.

My health has improved a lot, but I still have to be careful and not over do. I am teaching music in the Seminary this semester. Next semester I will continue with music and pedagogy.

The churches are all doing real good:
Templo Bautista in Questzaltenango is having souls saved and people dedicating their lives to be used of the Lord. Pastor Santos Martinez is the pastor here. Also He has a Bible Institute on Friday nights. There is a good group attending.

Templo Bautista de Ostuncalco in San Juan has built the first place of their building and it is nice. They dedicated the latter part last year. They are having souls saved and people dedicating their lives for the Lord's service. Pastor Otoniel Gomez is the pastor here.

Iglesia Bautista Fundamental, Palabra Fiel in Cantel is really doing a good work. The pastor is leading them in soul winning. People are being saved and baptized. I take my car to help carry people to the baptizing. We don't have a baptistry in the church. This is teh church were I am serving. Because of uphills, down hills, and up and down cliffs they won't let me visit and I DO MISS VISITATION! Tomás Sop is the pastor here.

I play the piano and am teaching 2 boys to play. I am working myself out of a job. I also make copies for the Sunday School teachers for their classes. Another lady and I translate VBS materials into Spanish adn make the books.
