We believe in training young men and women in 1st
CENTURY BASICS FOR 21st CENTURY MINISTRY! That is, enTRUSTED,
TIME-TRIED, and TESTED for nearly
2,000 years and still found to be uniquely effectual! Therefore,
we have no need to deviate from them, nor have we the right to do
so regardless of technological advances and their societal affect!
In order to fulfill our vision we need to be a school that is FREE
TO SPECIALIZE.
Outside recognition and accreditation requiring our curriculum to include generic
liberal arts courses (thereby leaving less room for Bible courses) is self-defeating!
We recognize that Christian colleges are targeting Christian students for a
broader education. These have their place, but we want to be SINGULAR
IN FOCUS! (To do one thing well.) We also believe, "first things
first!" Accordingly, it is our desire to provide a new preacher with a SOLID
GROUNDING in the Bible. We want him to be especially knowledgeable of its setting,
structure, contents, doctrines and principles!
There is only ONE CHANCE TO LAY A FOUNDATION to
a life of ministry or even to further higher education. What better
basis for both than the Bible?
